The Shri Ram School Aravali campus nestles between high-rise apartments of the Hamilton
Court Complex in DLF City Phase 4 in Gurgaon. With two wings -the senior and the
junior -already there, the school is soon going to boast of more space creatively
designed for learning and activities. It retains its basketball courts and a ground
for football or cricket that have nurtured much talent in the last decade.
From the imposing porch and foyer, you can walk into the bright, airy, cheerful
classrooms of either wing, greeted by art and craft work of the children and teachers,
who painstakingly plan, design, execute and display talent in corridors and classrooms.
These corridors and rooms see much colour, creativity and genius by way of exhibitions
and displays – artistic, scientific and literary. The vibrancy and enjoyment that
goes into the teaching-learning process needs no better voice.
It is not only the physical space in school but also the calendar that testifies
to our children’s ability to think independently and express themselves boldly and
imaginatively, in tasks that reflect personal skill and aspirations as well as social
and community concern. A mix of academic and co-curricular activities and plans
ensure these capabilities and concerns are engendered, fostered and permitted expression,
without losing sight of the discipline and focus that will keep them effective.
Our children come from cosmopolitan backgrounds, with a mix of traditional and modern
values. The Shri Ram School believes in working closely with parents and this parent-teacher
partnership is vital to ensuring we together raise children who are sensitive, possess
integrity, are proud of their heritage and strive for excellence – who leave our
portals confident, capable and truly global citizens of whom the entire Shri Ram
community can be proud.
