Our Junior Green Brigade is a group of keen environmentalists who assist in keeping the school clean; they have been actively involved in our very successful campaigns against firecrackers and banning the use of polythene bags in the school and community. The school has evolved cloth bags which are an attractive and environment friendly alternative to plastic.

Several committed students have formed the Junior Tiger Task Force-Kids for Tigers and are very active in their efforts to save the tiger.
In keeping with our commitment to a safe and green environment, we do not use brown paper covers for school books. We recycle our paper and separate our waste into degradable and non degradable waste. TSRS has its own paper recycling unit.

We have our own Vermiculture pit: a simple, efficient and environment friendly technique to decompose organic waste into valuable organic manure. Students are involved in this. Rain Water Harvesting: A Roof Top Water Harvesting system was installed in the year 2003. As a result 34.49 lakh litres of rain water is harvested annually from roof and surface area. The school also spearheaded an awareness campaign which gained immense popularity amongst various schools and Housing Societies.
