Middle School - Classes 6 to 12: Academically, the challenges increase with the
inclusion of a third language - Sanskrit or French or Spanish, the detailing of
History and Geography as separate subjects and science unravelling itself to
the eager young minds under the banners of Physics, Chemistry and Biology .All
with the excitement of their first examinations! The students are guided and
counselled through these transitional years and the school works closely with
parents to help our young adolescents come to terms with all the joys and pains
of these growing years.
In the middle school, the curriculum includes programmes to develop side by
side ofacademic skills ie strong communication skills through debates,
elocution, extempore speaking and drama (DEED). Performing Arts,Physical
Education, Art and Craft, Bridge the Gap (an environmental program),
Perceptions (a communication cum sensitivity program), Computer classes,
Dimensions of Learning (DOL) study techniques, to name a few complement the
academic rigour and are time tabled classes.
The syllabus is enriched by teacher designed worksheets and subject integrated
projects. Emphasis is placed on learning by asking questions, problem solving
and through application. This is reinforced through curriculum related trips,
workshops, seminars and films.
