An internationally benchmarked curriculum

ATL Approaches to Learning — Thinking, Self-Management, Communication, Social and Research

At The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, we offer the Cambridge Lower Secondary for students aged 11 to 14 and the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme administered by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) for students aged 14 to 16. Recognised and respected worldwide, the programme provides a balanced and internationally benchmarked curriculum that encourages learners to explore ideas, think critically and engage actively with the world around them.

The Cambridge approach to education extends beyond academic excellence to the development of well-rounded individuals. Through a learning experience that emphasises critical thinking, inquiry, reflection, and real-world application, students grow into confident learners who can work effectively with information and ideas. They learn to take responsibility for their learning and actions, embrace innovation, respond thoughtfully to new challenges, and engage meaningfully with the world around them.

These qualities lie at the heart of the Cambridge learner profile, nurturing young people who are intellectually curious, socially aware, and prepared to make a positive contribution to their communities and an increasingly interconnected world.

At TSRS we believe that education works best when curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment are closely aligned. That belief inspires the design of each aspect of our Cambridge programmes — alignment stems from knowing what we want students to learn, understanding how we will know that learning has happened, and encouraging the teaching and learning approaches that support it.

Two Programmes

Two pathways, one Cambridge standard

The Shri Ram School offers two Cambridge programmes across Grades 6 to 10. Select a programme to explore its curriculum, subjects and assessment.

Cambridge Lower Secondary provides a flexible curriculum that can be developed and tailored to suit a school's specific needs, offering adaptability and customisation to ensure a curriculum that aligns with the school's needs and goals.

At The Shri Ram School, a well-defined curriculum framework is in place for each subject — English, Mathematics and Science. These frameworks provide a clear teaching structure and are designed to engage learners in an active and creative learning journey.

Curriculum Framerwork

A clear structure for English, Maths & Science

English

Enables learners to communicate confidently and effectively and to respond to a range of information, media and texts with understanding and enjoyment. Learners who follow this framework will develop a first language competency in English designed to be successful in any culture while promoting cross-cultural understanding.

Mathematics

Explores six content areas — number, algebra, geometry, measure, handling data and problem-solving — with problem-solving underpinning the first five. The framework focuses on principles, patterns, systems, functions and relationships for a holistic understanding of the subject.

Science

Encompasses four key areas — scientific enquiry, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Scientific enquiry underpins the three sciences, developing confidence and interest in scientific knowledge, alongside environmental awareness and a historical perspective on science.
